Moving Beyond Right and Wrong with Couples
This presentation defines what it means to hold two realities in working with couples. Once the relationship dance is defined, and brought to the awareness of the couple, the goal of the therapist is to help couples create a positive cycle of interactions. This presentation will show how by exploring vulnerabilities past and present, and enhancing communication between couples, therapists weave a narrative that gently holds each partner in the palm of each hand, thereby modeling and reinforcing this relationship gift of holding two realities.
