Enhancing Supervision Skills for the Today's Supervisor

This interactive session will enhance your leadership and management skills while reinforcing the essential standards for independent practice and supervision. You’ll explore the critical components of effective supervision. The webinar will also address generational differences in the workplace and introduce transformational thinking to bridge these gaps. Additionally, you’ll gain insight into the potential antecedents of supervisory conflicts and learn strategies to navigate and resolve them effectively.

Participants will receive valuable resources, including forms and documentation templates to streamline supervision and evaluation processes. By the end of this webinar, you will be better equipped to provide high-quality supervision, understand the responsibilities of both supervisors and supervisees, and support your supervisees in developing the knowledge and skills necessary for professional growth. This is an opportunity to refine your supervisory approach, adapt to the evolving landscape of teletherapy, and foster a collaborative and supportive environment within your team.

About the Presenter

Tonya M. Logan has over 30 years of professional clinical experience working with those managing conflict and trauma. She spent the bulk of her career, in D.C. and Maryland, working with biological parents and foster parents by securing permanency whether via reunification, adoption, or independent living as well as the clinical director of a program which provided in-home services to families at-risk of abuse and/or neglect in an attempt to strengthen and stabilize them so they would be diverted from the child welfare system. Ms. Logan was a contractor with an organization in which she facilitated 10-week grief groups for those impacted by homicide following her certification as a grief recovery specialist. She transitioned to being the supervisory social worker in a non-public school for students diagnosed with learning differences, emotional challenges, and/or autism and currently provides virtual counseling to individuals and couples.
