As clinicians we are often placed in situations with very few “tools” to use with children. In fact we are sometimes placed in locations which are even more limiting when practicing play therapy. Learn in this webinar how to transform a “space” into something unique, special, therapeutic, and holy by appreciating sand and the mobility of play therapy.

Ann is a licensed clinical social worker and a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor who has 20 years of experience working with children who have experienced traumatic events.  Ann received her master’s degree from the University of Kansas’s School of Social Welfare. As an Adjunct professor at MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas, she has taught play therapy courses for over twelve years . Ann has presented nationally and internationally on a variety of topics related to working with children who have experienced trauma. Currently, she is the President/CEO of The Childrens’ Place, an agency in Kansas City Missouri, that works solely with children 8 years and younger who have experienced abuse, neglect and trauma.
