This is my second version of this article - the original one got lost in cyberspace due to a technical glitch. Sort of the modern day equivalent to the missing sock in the washing machine...at least I have my socks.

I will occasionally post an article or blog piece, or whatever these things are called. But mostly this will be a place for me to share favorite quotes, sayings, poetry, prayers, and other assorted random but meaningful things. Like a good joke. Perhaps a guest contribution. Sometimes I may expand on what the words mean to me, other times I may simply share the words themselves. Typically I will just submit a QPP - a quote, prayer or poem. As my time and fancy permits..

Comments are welcome, suggested contributions are welcomed too. No guarantee I will post them - but they will be visible in the comments section regardless..

So here is our very first QPP:

We are all substantially flawed, wounded, angry, hurt, here on Earth. But this human condition, so painful to us, and in some ways shameful – because we feel we are weak when the reality of ourselves is exposed – is made much more bearable when it is shared, face-to-face, in words that have expressive human eyes behind them.

That's it for now. What does this quote mean for you?

Oh, my name - Dovid Kohn. Nefesh member. Husband. Father. Son. Brother. Wiseguy. Therapist in private practice. Meditator. Striving Jew. Balding and finding gravity having greater effects on my body as the years pass..

Welcome.
