TOO MANY SUICIDES

The fact is that suicides do occur.

Often we try to remove ourselves from situations we are uncomfortable with. Suicides are one of them. As we have seen publicized more frequently, suicides could be carried out by those you could envision following through as well as those who will shock you. There are so many myths and then we interpret information in a way we understand it.

There could be a variety of reasons for someone to end their life. It could be impulsive; it could be thought out. They could look depressed; they could look happy. They could have reached out for help; they may have not. There was a nurse in England who killed herself after she was pranked by a radio show, who pretended to be the queen, while Kate was in the hospital. The nurse thought the queen was actually on the phone. The world laughed at what happened and she was at the center of it. This was an actual situation which happened.

We perceive the world according to our realities. Our reality may not be accurate according to our thought process. While someone is in that state though, they won’t see their current reality doesn’t dictate the way the rest of their life will be. The nurse I just spoke about was publicly humiliated. A cause of wanting to end your life is feeling you are not able to overcome your present or future situation. Our behaviors at the moment are based on our current thoughts.

It is not always possible to prevent someone from making a decision to leave this world for good, but what you could do is give them positive thoughts and feelings to balance their negativity. Everyone needs to know the belong. If the way they choose to live their lives are against your religious and moral beliefs, you don’t need to throw them away. There is a way to include them in your life, still knowing you don’t agree with their decisions. If someone’s mental state overwhelms you, they could still know you care and want the best for them. You could set limits but still be on their list of people they could count on.

The same way you want to be happy, so does everyone else. By telling them not to do what makes them happy, you are telling them to live a life not worth living.
