Rabbi Avrohom Herman LCSW is a graduate of Wurzweiler School of Social Work. He has training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Response Prevention and Internal Family Systems (IFS). He treats anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorders (OCD). He also specializes in marital therapy, having completed both the level three training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy for the treatment of marital, relational and family dynamics, and the training in Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT). Rabbi Herman combines his clinical skills with thirty-nine years of extensive counseling to individuals, couples and families in his capacity of synagogue and communal rabbi. This unique combination of knowledge, experiences and skills are used to gain greater insight into the challenges of his clients, establish a strong therapeutic relationship with them and develop a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to their individual needs.
