OCD is the primary focus of my practice, in addition to related problems such as Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder. My treatment approach is collaborative and compassionate, and consists of evidence based cognitive behavioral treatments. These include ERP, acceptance and commitment therapy and cognitive behavioral intervention for tics (CBIT). I also treat the full range of anxiety disorders.

Bipolar Disorder is characterized by sustained and dramatic mood changes , and can co-occur with OCD. I am experienced in both the implementation of Interpersonal and Social Rhythm Therapy (IPSRT), an evidence based psychotherapy for BP disorder, as well as the treatment of OCD.

Since 2011, I have been treating patients with OCD and related disorders. I am a graduate of Hofstra University, and a formerly a psychologist at the Northwell Health OCD Center. I completed my post doctoral fellowship year at the OCD Center, where I trained for a total of 3 years before joining the clinical faculty. My doctoral internship was completed at the JJ Peters VA Medical Center, a leading center in the treatment of PTSD.
