Psychedelic Therapy and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy

In this class we will explore psychedelics and the way they will enhance our therapeutic practice. We will specifically focus on the use of ketamine in treating psychiatric difficulties. We will discuss altered states of consciousness and how they can help us to achieve more self awareness. A case study of someone in ketamine therapy will be presented who has been in a psychodynamic psychotherapy with the presenter for the last 6 years and has used ketamine over the past year. Breakout rooms will be used to help understand more about this process.
