Changes in the adolescent and young adult experience of the past decade have contributed to a slew of psychological challenges not encountered in previous generations. The consequences for clinical practice are profound. We will address some of the most significant changes and innovations and their impact on providing mental health services.
Robert Lebovits, PhD is a graduate of City College of New York. He received his Master's Degree and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Case Western Reserve University and subsequently began his clinical career in Pittsburgh, PA. After working for 4 years at Jewish Family and Children's Service, Dr. Lebovits moved on to full-time private practice and consulting. For over 20 years, he served as the psychology consultant to the Center for Assessment and Treatment of Youth, a Non-Profit provider of foster care services for children and teenagers adjudicated dependent or delinquent.
