workshop

4) Exploring the role of bias in our lives
a. Differentiation of implicit and explicit biases
b. Evolution of biases
c. Recognizing benefits of biases
d. Identifying dangers of biases
e. 15 minutes
5) Assessing for Bias
a. We will explore and apply various tools designed to assess bias and prejudice
b. Strengths, weaknesses and limitations of tools will be identified
c. 60 minutes
6) Addressing bias in the workplace
a. Methods for addressing bias will be introduced and discussed.
b. 50 minutes
7) Summary & Questions
a. Presenter will summarize opportunities for practice change as a result of the
material explored in the session
b. Questions left unanswered during the training will be addressed in this time.
c. Post test will be administered, if necessary.
